Gary Thomas has been with JRfm since 2001. He has been a broadcaster for many years having started in Creston, BC in 1978. He has also worked in Abbotsford, Langley, and at CKWX SuperCountry before the station went to news and traffic. Gary feels right at home at JRfm. He was literally raised on country music (can you say Buck Owens, Bill Anderson and Tammy Wynette?). This is the music he loves and working at JRfm fits in with his personal life. Gary, his wife and 3 children make their home in Surrey - because "Surrey Loves its Country".
