CONTEST RULES

93.7 JRfm / CJJR-FM GENERAL CONTEST

RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. No purchase necessary. Contests are open to all residents of British Columbia only, except employees of the sponsor(s) and its/ their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families. Entrants under the legal age of majority are eligible to win provided that the winning entrant’s parent or legal guardian accepts the prize on his/her behalf.

  2. Prize must be accepted as awarded, has no cash value, and is non-transferable.

  3. The sponsors of the contest will conduct communication only with the selected contestants and grand prize winners with no exceptions.

  4. Contest winners must first correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill testing question to be administered on paper. Contest winners will also be required to sign a standard form of declaration and release confirming compliance with the contest rules and regulations acknowledging the non-responsibility of JIM PATTISON BROADCAST gROUP LP, Jim Pattison Industries Ltd.,AND ALL AFFILIATED COMPANIES, AND ITS RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS and any other prize suppliers and other organizations involved, and their respective employees, for any liabilities for injuries, accidents, loss or misfortune relating to the awarding of the prize.

  5. Only one (1) prize will be awarded per household per address. The decision of the contest judges is final. In the event that an entrant or contest winner is not eligible, or cannot be contacted after diligent efforts by CJJR-FM, CJJR-FM will have the right to qualify another entrant and CJJR-FM shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in the regard. By entering in this contest, the entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these rules.

  6. All entries become the property of CJJR-FM, who assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, destroyed or misdirected entries.

  7. Contests are subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws. Void where prohibited.

  8. Unless specifically designated, for production, on-air security and on-air quality purposes, announcers reserve the right to select, random or otherwise, any caller to participate in a contest regardless of the sequence in which calls are answered.

  9. Any contestant who misrepresents their identity will, at the discretion of the station, no longer be eligible to participate in station contests.

  10. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these rules. By entering the contest, each entrant consents to the use of their name, city of residence and /or photograph, without compensation, in any advertising or publicity carried out by the sponsors.

  11. The sponsors accept no liability or responsibility in connection with injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of this contest or the prizes awarded.

  12. CJJR-FM holds the right to amend contest rules or change contest rules at any time without prior notice. Other contests on CJJR-FM may have separate contest rules that will apply.

  13. All prizes must be claimed within 60 days at the offices of CJJR-FM. After 60 days, prize becomes the property of CJJR-FM, to do with as it may determine, including awarding it to another contestant, and CJJR-FM shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in the regard.

  14. Entrants will not be eligible for additional contests with CJJR-FM until 60 days after being awarded a contest prize.

  15. Contest rules and regulations for CJJR-FM contests are available at the offices of CJJR-FM, located at Suite 300 - 1401 West 8th Ave., Vancouver, BC V6H 1C9. Office hours are 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
